Hortons' Estate Limited is privately owned by the Horton Family and currently has a net asset value in excess of £200 million. Members of the family are on the Main Board as non-executive directors including the Deputy Chairman Peter Horton. Richard Samuda was appointed to the Board in 2004 and he became Chairman in April 2008 following the retirement of Michael Horton. The Executive directors Rob Blyth, Chief Executive, and Tony Green, Finance Director have been increasing the activity of the Company by gearing up and undertaking a higher proportion of Development work. |
The asset portfolio is administered by a team of surveyors and support staff headed by Estate Manager Richard Norgrove. Andrew Hall heads the Development team. The Company has been actively creating a development pipeline which is now being used to grow profits and hence dividends.
